Once again this year, the Virginia Law Enforcement Torch Run will host a statewide raffle featuring a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office coordinates the raffle and helps ensure that tickets are sold at several large events like NASCAR races and Harley Davidson Open Houses. $20 tickets are sold throughout the year until the winner is drawn in mid-September. Agencies and departments are invited to sell raffle tickets at local fundraising events, to colleagues and friends, and at other events throughout the year. Only 2,000 tickets are sold and every agency/department gets credited for any tickets that they sell.
For ticket information, please e-mail Lt. Kerri Freis with the Hanover County Sheriff's Office, who coordinates the Harley Davidson Raffle for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
